The much-awaited collaboration between NTR and director Prashanth Neel is progressing steadily. Although “Dragon” was widely speculated as the film’s title, producer Y. Ravi Shankar recently clarified that no title has been finalized yet, preferring to refer to the project simply as #NTRNeel until an official announcement is made.
The latest buzz suggests that the team is drawing inspiration from SS Rajamouli’s grand title reveal for “Varanasi.”
Rajamouli hosted a massive event where he not only unveiled the title but also released footage showcasing the film’s core theme and scale. The event saw participation from international media, national outlets, and top social media influencers, an effort that reportedly cost crores but successfully generated global attention.
Inspired by this strategy, the makers of #NTRNeel are planning a similar large-scale event early next year to unveil the title and introduce the world of the film. Regular shooting for the project will resume next month.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers on a massive scale, the film features NTR in a high-voltage action role. It is likely to be made in two parts, with the first installment scheduled for a 2026 theatrical release.
