On I-Day, ‘Jailer’ amasses big money

The Telugu version of “Jailer” has blown everyone away with its box office performance. The film is still doing well.

On Independence Day, “Jailer” amassed a huge sum of money and added more than Rs 2 crore to its Nizam collections. With this share, the film has surpassed the Rs 12 crore mark in Nizam. This is a big amount for a dubbed film. We’ll have to wait and see if the film can break the Rs 20 crore barrier in Nizam.

Rajinikanth’s recent films failed to find an audience in Telugu states. Films like “Peddanna,” “Kaala,” and “Darbar” had the lowest box office collections. Rajinikanth has made a strong comeback with “Jailer.”
