Oscars 2020: Gully Boy is India's official entry

Bollywood film ‘Gully Boy’ has been chosen as India’s entry for Oscars 2020. The film starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt has been selected as the official entry from India for the 92nd Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category.

Telugu film ‘Dear Comrade’ was among the 28 Indian films that were screened for consideration. But the jury headed by Aparna Sen took unanimous decision to send Gully Boy as India’s entry. The Oscars will be announced Sunday, 9 February 2020.
