OTT is a boon to an actress like me: Tamannaaah

Known as one of the glamorous icons in India, actress Tamannaah Bhatia feels the OTT boom has done well for her. Tamannaah Bhatia is a leading actress and has multiple film assignments in the South Indian film industry and Bollywood. Still, she feels OTT space is a boon to her.

In an interview with Times of India actress said the OTT boom has helped actresses like her to explore different roles and content. In

“Because of OTT, our idea of good content has also changed. For me as an actor, it’s great. What I could not do 10-12 years ago, I can do now. Also what wouldn’t have been accepted 10-12 years ago, would probably be accepted now,” she was quoted saying. 

She recently wrapped a show for Amazon Prime. She has also acted in web films for Disney Plus Hotstar.

On the other hand, she has ‘Gurtunda Sitakalam’ and Chiranjeevi’s ‘Bholaa Shankar’ on the sets. She is reportedly going to act alongside superstar Rajinikanth in ‘Jailer’.
