P V Sindhu's victory: Viva creates before after reactions

VIVA creates a video capturing the ‘before’ and ‘after’ P.V. Sindhu’s victory reactions of Indian parents.

Culture Machine’s digital channel ‘VIVA’ catering to Hyderabad and Telangana audience created a new video titled,‘Parents reaction to P.V. Sindhu victory’. The video encapsulates the changing mind sets of Indian parents in light of P.V. Sindhu’s ground breaking silver medal victory at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Before P.V. Sindhu’s victory, a typical Indian parent wanted their child to become either an engineer or a doctor. Apart from this, a girl was never given the freedom to choose a career of her choice. One win was all that was needed to bring about a revolution in our society. P.V. Sindhu’s victory altered every Indian parent’s reaction towards their child’s career, they are now open to alternative careers like sports. Above all this, they are also giving their children a free hand to pursue their dream. The video perfectly captures the before and after reaction which every parent-child duo can connect to!

Culture Machine’s digital channel VIVA released a statement, “P.V. Sindhu has made our entire nation proud and we wanted to make a video to emote the effect it has on everyone. This video is a light hearted depiction of the consequences her win had over an Indian parent. We are positive that our audience will connect to the video and appreciate the humour.”

Because after all life is a matter of choices we make and one shouldn’t be afraid of chasing their dream!
