Thalapathy Vijay is one of South India’s biggest stars. His recent films, such as “Master,” “Adirindi,” “Whistle,” “Varasudu,” “Leo,” and others, have also garnered significant market share in Telugu states. However, his new film, “The Greatest of All Time,” also known as “GOAT,” has almost zero hype.
The makers didn’t promote it much. The trailers and songs released so far failed to captivate the Telugu audiences.
Venkat Prabhu, the director who made his Telugu debut with the Naga Chaitanya starrer “Custody,” which failed at the box office, doesn’t have much of a following in the Telugu market. Moreover, the floods and rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have caused people to shift their focus away from this film.
So, “GOAT” will release tomorrow (September 5) with a low buzz.
In the film, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sneha are Vijay’s female companions. Both of these actresses recently landed in Hyderabad and did their bit of promotion.
