Ravi Teja’s film “Mr. Bachhan” has made headlines again. The film, based on the blockbuster Bollywood film “Raid,” opened in theaters last month to a tepid response, despite good expectations. The remake proved to be a massive failure.
“Mr. Bachchan” caused huge losses for producers and distributors.
In an effort to assist the producer, Ravi Teja and director Harish Shankar have agreed to repay a portion of their remuneration.
Ravi Teja reportedly returned some amount from his payment to the producer, while director Harish Shankar returned Rs 2 crore and asked him to cut another four crore from next project.
The film was produced by TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory. Bhagyashree Borse made her acting debut in this film.
