Prabhas plans one for Sankranthi, one for Dasara

Prabhas continues to be the busiest star in Indian cinema. He is the only top actor juggling multiple films on sets while also lining up new ones. For years, he has been hoping to release two films in the same year, but delays have constantly thwarted his plans.

Now, that dream is finally set to become reality in 2026.

“The Raja Saab,” which was originally meant to release this year, has been officially pushed to Sankranthi 2026. The horror-comedy directed by Maruthi is nearing completion and is locked for January 9, 2026 as a festive treat.

The latest buzz is that Mythri Movie Makers is eyeing a Dasara release for “Fauji,” the massive historical action drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. If things go as planned, the film will hit theaters during the 2026 Dasara holiday season.

That means Prabhas will finally achieve his long-pending goal of two big releases in a single year.
