Pradeep Ranganathan has achieved a rare feat among the younger generation of Tamil stars. He is the only one to deliver three consecutive films that each collected over Rs 10 crore nett in the Telugu states. His recent releases Love Today, Return of the Dragon and the latest Dude all crossed this mark.
Remarkably, all three films also grossed more than Rs 100 crore worldwide.
While top Tamil superstars like Rajinikanth and Vijay often see global collections exceeding Rs 500 crore, and stars such as Kamal Haasan, Ajith and Suriya register Rs 200 to Rs 300 crore worldwide, Pradeep Ranganathan’s achievement stands out for a newcomer.
Among the new-generation Tamil actors, none have managed three consecutive Rs 10 crore-plus hits in the Telugu market, making Pradeep’s record truly exceptional.
