Preity Mukhundhan takes charge of her own promotion

Preity Mukhundhan, who played the female lead opposite Manchu Vishnu in “Kannappa,” gave her all to the film—both in performance and glamour. Despite “Kannappa” being a devotional drama, she appeared in a sensuous and striking avatar as a tribal woman, aiming to leave a strong impression.

However, during the film’s promotional campaign, she was largely sidelined. Preity had expected to be more actively involved in the publicity drive, but the team offered her limited visibility and little individual spotlight.

Now that “Kannappa” has completed its run and ultimately turning out to be a box office disappointment, Preity has taken matters into her own hands. She has begun promoting herself through interviews and social media, sharing her experiences working on the film, including her time with star Prabhas.

Her recent comments suggest she may have had creative or promotional differences with the team.

Despite the setback, the young actress is hopeful of securing more opportunities in Telugu cinema and is working to keep herself in the public eye.
