Producer: Khaidi No 150 biggest hit in South India!

Recently, the producers of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ made an announcement regarding the ‘revenue’ of the movie on the eve of its 50 days run. They put it as Rs 77 Cr.

Now, the producer of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback movie has also announced collections of the movie declaring it biggest grosser in South India (in single language). They have released a poster of 54 days run by putting the total collections as Rs 164 Cr (gross) worldwide. 

The poster proclaims that ‘Khaidi No 150’ is the No.1 grosser in South India among the movies that released in single language. The biggest grosser like ‘Robo’, ‘Kabali’ and ‘Baahubali’ were released in muliti-languages. ‘Khaidi No 150’ was released in only one language – Telugu.

‘Khaidi No 150’ is remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Kaththi’. The movie was produced by Ram Charan and directed by V V Vinayak. It starred Kajal Agarwal as heroine. Chiranjeevi returned to silver screen as a lead hero after a gap of nine years with this movie and showed that his popularity among mass audiences is still intact. The movie also became all-time fourth biggest hit in USA.
