Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru on Peddi and Ram Charan’s dedication

“Peddi,” starring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, marks the debut production venture of Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner. The film is slated for release on June 4. Satish Kilaru, who has long been associated with Mythri Movie Makers, is producing the film independently on a grand scale.

Speaking about the film, the producer revealed the immense dedication and physical effort Ram Charan put into the project.

“It wasn’t just one injury. Ram Charan garu suffered three injuries during the shoot. He got hurt while performing the wrestling sequence, and one of the injuries even required wrist surgery. Despite the pain, he continued shooting for ‘Peddi’ with a physiotherapist constantly by his side. Because of his dedication and support, the team could complete the shoot in 180 days,” he said.

The producer added that Ram Charan underwent a remarkable transformation for the role after training rigorously for nearly two years.

“Words aren’t enough to describe how hard Ram Charan worked for this film. His transformation will stun audiences on the big screen. Even after getting stitches near his eye, he returned to the shoot the very next day. That shows his commitment,” he stated.

Calling “Peddi” a highly intense and performance-driven film, Satish Kilaru said Ram Charan delivered exactly what director Buchi Babu envisioned without any compromise.

He further expressed confidence that expectations for the film would rise significantly after the trailer release.

“From the title cards to the climax, ‘Peddi’ will keep audiences completely engaged. The trailer itself will make viewers eager to watch the film. We are planning a grand release across Telugu states, pan-India markets, and overseas,” he said.

Expressing gratitude to Ram Charan, the producer said it was his fortune to make a film with the star actor.

“This journey became possible only because Ram Charan garu believed in the project and agreed to do it. We made this film with the same passion and positive energy from day one till the final day of shoot. By the end of the journey, the entire team became emotional,” he added.
