Putting an end to all the rumors and speculations, the producer of Vijay starrer ‘Master’ has clarified that the film will release in theaters only.
“ With a lot of rumors surfacing in the past few days, we would like to clarify our stand on it. Though we have an offer from a reputed OTT service provider, we prefer the theatrical release, which is the need of the hour for the industry to survive the on-going crisis,” Xavier Britto, the film’s producer, stated in a press note.
‘Master’ starred Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, and Malavika Mohan. The film was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraju of ‘Khaidi’ fame’.
‘Master’ was to release in theaters in April 2020 but it stuck in the labs due to the coronavirus pandemic. The producers are looking at the early 2021 release.
