Promotional issues: Sree Vishnu faces double-bill dilemma

Sree Vishnu is dealing with a unique box-office situation as two of his upcoming films are scheduled to release within a day of each other. The actor is staring at a rare double-bill moment with “Vishnu Vinyasam” and “Mrithyunjay” hitting theatres back-to-back.

Sources say he is trying to push one of the films to March to avoid a clash. However, the producers of both projects are unwilling to budge as they have already locked OTT deals and committed to releasing the films before the end of the current financial year.

Now, Sree Vishnu is working on a strategy to handle promotions effectively. If one film gets postponed, the campaign will be streamlined. But if both arrive as scheduled, he will need a carefully balanced promotional plan to ensure neither film loses momentum.

“Mrithyunjay”, an investigative drama directed by Hussain Kiran Shaw and produced by Vinay Chilakapati and Sandeep Gunnam, is slated for release on February 27, 2026.

Meanwhile, “Vishnu Vinyasam”, a comic entertainer, is scheduled to arrive in theatres on February 28, 2026, setting up an unusual back-to-back release scenario for the actor.
