Puri-Sethupathi film begins regular shooting

Vijay Sethupathi and Puri Jagannadh have teamed up for a film for the first time, and their collaboration has surprised many. Three months after its announcement, the film has finally gone on the sets, with regular shooting commencing today.

Vijay Sethupathi joined the shoot in his usual simple style. Samyuktha, who plays the female lead, also took part in the shoot, appearing in the traditional look of a Telugu girl wearing a saree. The shoot will continue in Hyderabad until completion.

The team wrote: “Major talkie portions featuring Makkalselvan @VijaySethuOffl and fierce @iamsamyuktha_ are being canned in this packed schedule and will have a continuous shoot.”

Tabu is also playing a key role in the film.

Puri Jagannadh, who suffered massive losses with his recent films Liger and Double iSmart, is under pressure to deliver a success with this project.
