Tamannah is reprising the role of Kangana Ranaut in the Telugu remake of ‘Queen’. The Telugu remake in the direction of Neelakantha was launched on Sunday (October 1, 2017). To be produced by Manu Kumaran, son of international award winning Malayalam director KP Kumaran on their banner Mediente Films, the Telugu remake will be faithful to the original Hindi movie that fetched Kangana national award as Best Actress.
Queen Tamil version starring Kajal Aggarwal is titled Paris Paris and will be directed by Ramesh Aravind. Butterfly, the Kannada remake of Queen starring Parul Yadav is already on floors. Finally, the Telugu remake was officially launched on Sunday.
‘Tamannaah is an exceptional talent and we are confident that her nuanced performance will make the film memorable. Queen Hindi version saw critical, commercial success apart from winning over 32 Awards including the Indian National Award for Best Film and Best Actress,” said Manu Kumaran.
