Superstar Rajinikanth today clarified that he has signed his next films with Red Giant Films and Kamal Haasan’s Raj Kamal Films International. When asked whether he would share the screen with Kamal Haasan again, he expressed his desire to do so but emphasized that it would ultimately depend on the story and the director.
“I have signed films for Red Giant and Raj Kamal International, but the director and the story are yet to be finalised. I wish to work with Kamal Haasan again, but let’s see how things unfold,” he said.
There had been widespread speculation that Lokesh Kanagaraj, who directed Rajinikanth in “Cooolie” and Kamal Haasan in “Vikram”, would helm the project. However, Rajinikanth’s statement confirms that no director has been locked in yet.
Reports suggest that Rajinikanth was not entirely satisfied with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s work in “Cooolie”, which fell short of expectations.
