There were numerous films in Indian cinema that told the story of the Ramayana. For the first time, however, an epic film will be broken into two halves. According to sources, ‘Ramayana’, a pan-Indian film directed by Bollywood’s Nitesh Tiwari, will be made in two parts.
Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, and Sai Pallavi portrays Goddess Sita. The production of the epic drama has already begun.
Due to budget constraints, the makers apparently decided to split the plot into two parts.
The estibmated budget is Rs 800 crore.
Kannada superstar Yash is a co-producer on this mammoth epic.
