Rashmika’s film faces allegations of artificial boosting

The Bollywood film industry has been struggling to attract audiences to its theaters. Even films with noted stars and high-profile films are not able to post big numbers on the first day. The advance bookings paint an even duller picture.

The film “Chhaava,” starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, is also encountering the same issue.

The movie, centered on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has been actively promoted, but the advance bookings are too low, and the trend is too slow.

However, there is a sudden surge in the advance ticket sales on Sunday, leading to questions about the real numbers. There are allegations that the producers are artificially boosting numbers. Corporate bookings have lately become a trend in Bollywood to boost numbers in the opening week. So, “Chaava” is facing similar allegations.

Rashmika Mandanna, despite her leg injury, is doing promotions for this film.
