With the success of ‘Pushpa,’ Rashmika gained tremendous market acclaim and landed numerous Bollywood projects. However, she is not getting much mileage from her first Hindi films.
Her first Bollywood film, ‘Goodbye,’ was released last month to lukewarm reviews. After three days, the film was pulled from theatres. It was a complete failure. Her second film, ‘Mission Majnu,’ is said to be heading straight to OTT.
According to reports, it will not be released in theatres. The spy thriller, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna, is expected to be released directly on Netflix in January 2023.
To achieve her first theatrical success in Bollywood, she must now rely on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal,’ starring Ranbir Kapoor. Her initial Bollywood projects haven’t helped her career much so far.
