Ratnavelu is on board for Ram Charan’s RC16

Ratnavelu is a critically acclaimed cinematographer in the South Indian film industry. He rose to prominence after filming such projects as “Arya”, “Sethu”, “Robo”, and “Rangasthalam”. He has long association with director Sukumar. He is now set to work with Sukumar’s disciple.

Ratnavelu is currently filming NTR – Koratala Siva’s “Devara”. As production on “Devara” nears completion, he has signed on to a new project. He signs on for Ram Charan’s next film, a sports drama. Buchi Babu Sana is directing the untitled film (#RC16).

“Team #RC16 welcomes the master lensman. Happy birthday to the acclaimed cinematographer and man who creates stunning visuals,” the team wrote on social media.

The film stars Ram Charan as the hero. Janhvi Kapoor is likely to play the female lead. Shiva Rajkumar, a Kannada veteran star, will play an important role. AR Rahman is the music director. Vriddhi Cinemas is bankrolling it.
