Sankranthi is a crucial period for Telugu cinema, and every star aims to secure a release slot during this festive season. The slot for Sankranthi 2026 has already been claimed by Megastar Chiranjeevi. His upcoming film, directed by Anil Ravipudi (#ChiruAnil), was officially announced long ago as a Sankranthi release.
It is common for two to four major films to clash during this important season, and now two more have joined the race.
Naveen Polishetty’s romantic entertainer “Anaganaga Oka Raju,” co-starring Meenakshi Chaudhary, has already been scheduled for a Sankranthi 2026 release. The makers recently announced the release date.
Now, Ravi Teja has entered the fray as well. His 76th film, tentatively titled #RT76, was launched today, and the makers have confirmed their intention to release it during Sankranthi.
So, Sankranthi 2026 will witness a box office clash between Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja, and Naveen Polishetty. It remains to be seen if any other films will join the race.
