Ravi Teja still pursuing outdated remake

Ravi Teja has clearly lost the grip on selecting right scripts. In the last 7 years, he has delivered about 10 flops. Last year alone we saw three duds from him. Still, he is selecting films that seem outdated.

Vijay starrer ‘Theri’ was released in Telugu by the name ‘Police’ but the film was a flop at the box-office. But Mythri Movie Makers bought the movie’s remake rights in the hope of remaking it with Pawan Kalyan. Since Pawan Kalyan became busy in politics, the banner approached Ravi Teja and he agreed to do the movie initially.

After seeing the flops with ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ and ‘Nela Ticket’, Ravi Teja changed his mind and said no to remake of ‘Theri’. Suddenly, we hear the news that the remake has been revived. The production house still wants to produce it in Telugu with Ravi Teja in the direction of Kandireega fame Santosh Srinivas, who has been living on this project in the last three years.

Ravi Teja, on the other hand, is currently working for Vi Anand’s ‘Disco Raja’.
