RGV: People are like frogs in the well

Many people wonder what has happened to RGV, the filmmaker.

One of the greatest directors of all-time in Indian cinema, Ram Gopal Varma has lately been making movies that does not match his calibre.

Ram Gopal Varma reacted to the comments that he has fallen from grace as a filmmaker.

“I know many have been commenting that I have gone down as a filmmaker and have lost respect with the current films. But I strongly believe that these people are living in a cocoon. They are like frogs in the well. I don’t give a damn about what others think. I make films that excite me as a filmmaker,” he said.

Ram Gopal Varma is directing or producing films with low budgets and none of them attract audiences. But he says all his films are profitable ventures for the producers.

“Or I would not have received such offers,” he tells us.
