Rhea’s judicial custody extended till Oct 20

There is no relief for Rhea Chakraborty’s woes. The actress has been under judicial custody in a drug case related to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act court (NDPS) in Mumbai on Tuesday extended her custody until October 20.

NCB officials arrested Rhea and her brother a month ago. She has not been given bail yet. She was arrested on the grounds that she procured drugs and financed them. However, she maintains that she has been falsely implicated in this case.

Rhea had lived with Sushant Singh Rajput for more than a year. He was found dead in his residence on June 14. It has now emerged that Sushant had been addicted to drugs.
