Kannada actor-director Rishab Shetty, who rose to nationwide fame with Kantara, is back in the news for his latest social media activity.
Rishab, who recently signed the Telugu film Jai Hanuman, has reportedly unfollowed actress Rukmini Vasanth on Instagram. The two had earlier shared screen space in the “Kantara: Chapter 1”, the sequel to “Kantara”.
This move has triggered speculation, especially as it comes amid reports of differences between Rishab and Hombale Films, the banner behind blockbusters like KGF, Kantara, and Salaar. It is being said that he first unfollowed the production house, followed by Rukmini Vasanth and his friend, filmmaker Raj B Shetty.
While there is no official confirmation about any fallout, the developments have led to discussions within industry circles. Rishab, who has also launched his own production banner recently, seems to be charting a new path in his career.
