All Telugu films that include Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ featuring NTR and Ram Charan have stopped their shootings. Indian Motion Pictures Producer’s Association has declared to stop shootings in all areas. Now, the Telugu film chamber has also taken the same decision. “No film’s shooting will take place until March 21st,” Narayana Das Narang, president of Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, announced.
The decision was taken after consulting several producers, he said. Both the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce and Movie Artistes’ Association have jointly come to this decision on the advisory of the Telangana government. The movie theaters have already been closed in Telangana until March 21st.
“Films that are progressing in foreign locations can continue if they don’t have any problem there. But we wish all film producers stop the shootings even if they are shooting in foreign. Since corona has been declared as a pandemic. A large gathering is should be avoided,” Jeevitha Rajasekhar added.
