Rajamouli, NTR, Ram Charan, and their families are currently in Japan to promote “RRR.” Last weekend, the film was released in independent theatres in Japan. The film grossed ¥65 million in its first weekend (Rs 3.61 crores). A gross of Rs 4 crore came in four days, with a share of around Rs 2 crore.
The box office collection is considered respectable for an Indian film. The team, on the other hand, is hoping for a long run in Japan.
“Baahubali” by Rajamouli has made a lot of money. Rajamouli took his heroes Ram Charan and NTR to Tokyo to promote his films, and he has done extensive promotion.
Promotions in Japan would cost more than Rs 5 crore.
We’ll have to see if “RRR” can recoup at least its promotional costs from its final share.
