The makers of ‘RRR’ have confirmed that the film will release in theaters only. After several state governments in India have imposed a night curfew in the wake of the Omicron threat, speculations are rife that the makers of ‘RRR’ might opt for a direct-OTT release.
However, these speculations turned out to be false. Producer DVV Danayya and director Rajamouli have clarified that the film will release in theaters only. The team is also continuing its promotions. On Monday (December 27), a pre-release event for the Tamil version of the film was held in Chennai.
Directed by Rajamouli, ‘RRR’ features NTR and Ram Charan as the lead actors. The film is slated to hit theaters on Jan 7, 2022.
