RRR still searching for an ideal release date

‘RRR’ has dropped its Sankranthi release plans owing to various reasons. Although Rajamouli wants to place the film in the first week of January 2022, there are other issues he has to deal with. Instead of wasting energy to clear all these issues, he reportedly backed off from the Sankranthi race.

The period drama got postponed several times. The makers recently stated that they would announce a new release date when the world cinema markets are up and running. The USA market is showing good growth. But the domestic market is yet to regain its mojo.

‘RRR’ has NTR and Ram Charan playing freedom warriors, and they have British actress Olivia Morris and Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt respectively as their female pair. MM Keeravani has composed the music.

The film’s first song, Dosti, could not live up to the expectations.
