It is a well-established truth that director Shankar films songs in an extravagant manner. Since his debut film, “Gentleman,” he has demonstrated a grand vision for visuals and innovative ideas.
Magnificence is his hallmark aesthetic. For his debut Telugu film, Game Changer, starring Ram Charan in the principal role, Shankar reportedly spent Rs 75 Crore for the filming of the songs.
The team stated, “Picturesque locations, opulence and magnificence in sets, impressive dance choreography, lively music, aesthetically pleasing lyrics, and production design render the songs of Game Changer a remarkable visual spectacle.”
The makers shot the music video for “Jaraganadi” over a period of 13 days. Six hundred dancers participated in this song, choreographed by Prabhu Deva. The song “Ra Macha Macha” showcased 1,000 folk dancers in conjunction with the actor.
“Naa Naa Hyraanaa” marks the debut of an infrared camera in an Indian song, enhancing a spectrum of colors and creating a surreal scene. Filmed with Ram Charan and Kiara Advani amidst the scenic landscapes of New Zealand, the song blends Western and Carnatic music.
For the dance track “Dhop”, nearly 100 professional dancers flown in from Russia to participated in the filming eight days across three distinct opulent settings at RFC.
“Game Changer” will arrive in theaters on January 10, 2025.
