After several postponements, confusion prevailed about release date of ‘Rudramadevi’ till the other day. With bad publicity coming in media, director and producer Gunasekhar has realized the urgency of the matter. Today made an announcement. “We are going to release the movie on June 26th worldwide,” he declared.
The film was supposed to release around Sankranthi festival in Jan this year. Later it was pushed to March. Then came the announcement of May release. The movie got postponed some more times that prompted several rumors. Starring Anushka in the titular character of great queen of Kakatiya dynasty, the movie is epic period drama. Gunasekhar has directed and produced the film with a whopping budget of Rs 30+ Crores.
The movie has Rana in an important role and has music by maestro Ilayaraja. It will also be released in Tamil.
