'RX 100' now has second remake

‘RX 100’, which is already being remade with Aadhi Pinisetty as the hero in Tamil, now has got a second remake going for it. Producer DS Rao has laid his hands on the film’s remake rights for an undisclosed “huge price”.

In the past, DS Rao has bankrolled a film each with Nithin (‘Drona’), Nani (‘Pilla Jamindaru’), Nikhil (‘Kalavar King’) and Manchu Manoj (‘Mr. Nookayya’). He has enlisted a young “sensational star” for the remake. It’s suspenseful as to who is that hero.

As for the Tamil remake, it’s going to be a prestigious project, with Aadhi, who recently seen in ‘Neevevaro’, having a “shocking look” (it’s yet to be disclosed).

The Telugu original was directed by Ajay Bhupathi. Kartikeya and Payal Rajput starred as unlikely ‘lovers’ in this sleeper hit.
