Sai Pallavi gets no respite from the High Court

During the promotion of ‘Virata Parvam’ Sai Pallavi made some statements that did not go well will the Bajrang Dal leaders.

She said that the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ showed how Kashmiri Pandits were killed during the 90s. She compared this to a recent incident that happened when a Muslim driver was beaten and was forced to chant Jai Shri Ram. The actress said that there was no difference between the two incidents.

Angered by this a Bajrang Dal member filed a police complaint against the actress. The police issued notices and registered a case against her. Sai Pallavi on the other hand took legal advice and requested the High Court to cancel these notices.

High Court has dismissed Sai Pallavi petition.
