Samantha didn't check Love Story!

There’s a percent that Samantha Akkineni watches rough cut of her husband Naga Chaitanya’s movies and gives her inputs before the directors decide the release of the movie. Based on her inputs, director Shiva Nirvana reportedly reshot ‘Majili’ which went on to become a huge hit. Similarly, rumors surfaced saying that she did the same for Sekhar Kammula directed ‘Love Story’. The reports said she was not happy with Sai Pallavi dominating the show and allegedly asked Kammula to reduce her portion.

However, the team members rubbish speculations and term them as baseless rumors. First and foremost, she didn’t watch the film, said the team member. Nor Sekhar Kammula wrapped up the shooting part yet. Plus, during this lockdown, how would she step out and watch the rough cut, the unit member asks. 

‘Love Story’ stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. Chaitanya had agreed to the film after hearing the total narration of the script from Sekhar Kammula. Chaitanya doesn’t interfere with the director’s work once he okays the movie. 

The romantic drama was slated for May 2020 release but it has now been pushed. The new release date will be announced when theaters start running the shows. Well-known distribution house Asian Cinemas is foraying into film production with this ‘Love Story’. The film is jointly produced by Narayandas Narang and P Rammohan Rao.
