Samantha has long since completed filming for a web series based on the ‘Citadel’ universe. “Citadel” is an American spy thriller television series starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The web series garnered lukewarm feedback.
But Amazon has decided to add an Indian twist to it. The streaming company unveiled the web series today (March 19), with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and Samantha in the major roles. The Indian version is titled “Citadel Honey Bunny”
Samantha plays Honey in the series. Raj and DK created the series.
Samantha will return to screen this year with this web series. She has been away from work for a long due to health issues. The premiere date for this web series has yet to be determined.
