In her first attempt as a TV host, Samantha has scored a huge success. The proof is here: the television ratings. She hosted one episode (October 25) of Bigg Boss Telugu 4 in place of father-in-law Nagarjuna.
The episode has garnered 11.3 TVR in urban areas of AP and Telangana. This is one of the highest ratings the show had achieved in this.
Nagarjuna could not host the episode as he was shooting for his action movie ‘Wild Dog’ in Manali. Samantha had hosted that episode.
While she entertained the audiences with her chirpy attitude, trolls were merciless. They trolled her for her hosting skills. However, she has silenced her critics with the TV ratings.
While thanking Nagarjuna for trusting us, she earlier posted this message on Instagram: “An experience to remember .. Never thought I’d be on the Big Boss stage as host! Only because I was given this responsibility by my Mamagaru.. I could find the strength to overcome my fears … the fear that I had no experience hosting , the fear of Telugu.”
