Samyuktha: Hired a tutor and learned Telugu

Actress Samyuktha Menen has done just two films in Telugu, but she speaks Telugu fluently. Media persons were surprised with her Telugu language skills during the promotions of her upcoming film ‘Bimbisara’.

Starring Kalyan Ram as the hero, ‘Bimbisara’ is a fantasy film. Scheduled to hit the theaters on 5th August, the film has Catherine and Samyuktha as the heroines.

Samyuktha says she hired a Telugu tutor during the pandemic period.

“I was offered a film opposite Sai Dharam Tej. Director Sukumar is one of the producers. During the pandemic, the film’s shooting was stopped, and I hired a tutor to learn Telugu. It has become easy for me to pick up the language as everyone on the sets and my team helped,” she said.

 “I liked the role in Bimbisara. Among the films I have done so far, this is the best role I played,” Samyuktha revealed.

Samyuktha played Rana’s wife in ‘Bheemla Nayak’. “I have done Bheemla Nayak, Kaduva in Malayalam, Dhanush’s Sir and Bimbisara this year.”

She is open to glam roles as well. “But glamour should not be linked to the dressing style. My idea of glamour is different from the conventional definition,” she stated.

Any new films? “I have signed a big Malayalam film. In Telugu, I am doing ‘Sir’ with Dhanush and a film with Sai Dharam Tej,” Samyuktha revealed.
