Sarangapani Jathakam: Shoot done, ready to butterfly!

‘Sarangapani Jathakam’ is the title of director Mohanakrishna Indraganti’s new movie. The film features Priyadarshi in the titular role. The ‘Gentleman’ and ‘Sammohanam’ producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad is bankrolling it under the Sridevi Movies banner.

The comedy film, which explores the intriguing question of whether our future is predetermined or if we can influence it through our will, has completed its shoot. Now that the camera has stopped rolling, dubbing works are going to be started on September 12.

Producer Krishna Prasad says that circumstances had prevented him from roping in Jandhyala for a directorial although he wrote dialogues for ‘Chinnodu – Peddodu’ and ‘Aditya 369’ produced by him. “However, we are thrilled to now be working with Indraganti for a Jandhyala-type comedy. ‘Sarangapani Jathakam’ promises to be a memorable addition to Sridevi Movies, crafted with no compromises on budget or technical excellence,” the producer says.

Roopa Koduvayur, VK Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore, Viva Harsha, and Sivannarayana will be seen in different roles. The music is by Vivek Sagar.
