Shankar reduces songs in 2.0

Director Shankar’s ‘2.0’ will have its audio launch tomorrow (27th October). But don’t expect to listen to all five or six songs. For, the film will have only three songs. Shankar is making this film for international audience. Hence, the less number of songs!

While speaking to the media about the audio launch, Shankar announced this news. ” 2.0 is a pan Indian film and not just a Tamil film or Telugu film,” he declared.  He also made it clear that the movie is not sequel to his ‘Robot’. “2 Point O is not an extension to Endhiran aka Robo. It is set in a different backdrop with a few familiar characters,” he said.

Of the three songs only two of them will be unveiled at the audio event which will be held at Burj Kalifa. A R Rahman will be performing live during this event. Rana will be hosting the audio launch event as anchor.

‘2.0’ stars Superstar Rajinikanth in the dual role. The movie also has Akshay Kumar as villain. Amy Jackson has played the heroine.
