Shraddha Kapoor's Stree to be remade in Telugu

Shraddha Kapoor Hindi film ‘Stree’ is surprise blockbuster in Bollywood this year. The movie made with modest budget of Rs 15 Cr has grossed Rs 92 cr so far in India. This is one of the biggest blockbusters in 2018.

Produced by makers of Telugu original Raj and DK, the thriller is all set to be remade in Telugu. Raj and DK, who also wrote the script, said they are now looking actors to remake it in Telugu. The story of ‘Stree’ is based on the incidents that happened in Tirupathi.

‘O Stree Repu Raa’ was the line that used to appear in all houses in villages in 80’s and 90’s. This was the base for the Bollywood movie ‘Stree’. So, they feel that it would definitely work in Telugu.
