Shruti Haasan has welcomed a new furry member into her home by adopting a rescued kitten. The six-month-old Persian cat has now become part of her family, and she has named him Aslan Haasan.
This marks Shruti’s second pet adoption, reflecting her love for animals.
Sharing the happy update on Instagram, Zeenat Joseph, who facilitated the adoption, revealed that the kitten had earlier been surrendered by its previous family. She wrote that the cat was given up after the owner developed allergies and thanked Shruti for adopting the little one.
On the professional front, Shruti Haasan will next be seen in “Peddi,” where she has performed a special song.
