Shruti Haasan is not just a popular actress but also an accomplished singer with several hit tracks to her credit in both Tamil and Telugu. Over the years, she has also composed and released her own independent music.
For the first time, Shruti has collaborated with music maestro MM Keeravani.
Though she isn’t acting in the film, she has lent her voice for a powerful new song composed by Keeravani. The actress took to social media to share photos from the recording session, calling it a “powerful track” and expressing her excitement about the collaboration.
Reportedly, Shruti recorded this special number for SS Rajamouli’s upcoming global spectacle “GlobeTrotter”, starring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra. The song is said to be part of the upcoming global reveal event for the film, scheduled to take place on November 15 at Ramoji Film City.
She wrote, “It was a pleasure to sing for MM Keeravaani sir’s musical. What a powerful track… LET IT BANG, GLOBETROTTER. I was seated quietly listening to sir on the keys. He said he usually begins his sessions with the Vigneswara mantram before anything starts, so I assumed that’s what he was starting playing. Suddenly, I realised it was appas song … ! and that moment was super special Thankyou sir for your kindness and the love and warmth of the entire team that day.”
It remains unclear whether this track will also feature in the film’s official soundtrack or has been created exclusively for the event. Regardless, fans are thrilled to see Shruti and Keeravani joining forces for the first time.
