Shweta Basu Prasad, who is best known for films such as “Kotta Bangaru Lokam” and “Ride,” said in a recent interview that she was tormented on the set of a Telugu film because of her height. She also claimed that the film’s hero made comments about her height while filming it.
Shweta Basu Prasad regarded this as the only incidence of bullying she has encountered throughout her career.
Although she did not specifically mention the film or the hero, it was evident that she was referring to Varun Sandesh and her debut Telugu film, “Kotta Bangaru Lokam.”
She stated that, despite having Telugu roots, the lead actor was unable to speak Telugu properly and messed up everything. It is no secret that Varun Sandesh struggled to speak Telugu fluently due to his upbringing in the United States.
Shweta made these comments while promoting her next Hindi online series and interviewing a YouTuber.
Varun Sandesh, after playing lead roles in many films, has now lost his craze and is out of focus. Shweta has no career in Telugu.
