Siddharth sings 'Excuse Me Rakshasi' for Sundeep Kishan

Mention Siddharth’s name and the Telugu audience are sure to remember ‘Bommarillu’, ‘Nuvvostananate Nenoddantana’, ‘Aata’, ‘Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam’ and other films.  And he has entertained the audience not just as an actor but also as a singer.  ‘Appudo Ippudo’ from ‘Bommarillu’, ‘176 Beach House Lo Prema Devatha’ from ‘Oye’, ‘Ninnu Choostunte’ from ‘Aata’ are popular.

And, now, Siddharth has rendered a Telugu song after many years.  This time, it’s for Sundeep Kishan.  It’s for a song in the film ‘Ninu Veedani Needanu Nenu’.  Sundeep Kishan is producing this novel movie on Venkatadri Talkies (Production No. 1) in association with Vista Dream Merchants.  Directed by Caarthick Raaju, the actor is paired up with Anya Singh in this entertainer.

SS Thaman has composed the romantic song titled ‘Excuse Me Rakshasi’.  Sid completed recording for the song only recently.  Samrat has written the awesome number.

Speaking about the number, Siddharth says, “I always feel happy to sing a Telugu song.  Telugu is one of the sweetest languages.  When it is coupled with music, it becomes even sweeter.  It’s Telugu cinema that has given me recognition, respect and stardom as an actor.  I have always shared a special relationship with the Telugu audience.  I can’t forget Telugu.  The one reason I have rendered this song in ‘NVNN’ is my friend Sundeep Kishan.  He is like a younger brother to me.  He is producing a film for the first time and I wanted to sing a song for his first film.”

Sundeep Kishan said, “I like Siddharth a lot.  During my struggling days as an actor, he was of great support.  I felt that he should be associated with my first production venture in some or the other way.  Also, I have always been a big fan of his voice and songs.  I especially love his songs from ‘Bommarillu’ and ‘Oye’.  It’s exciting to have his voice for a song in my maiden production venture.  ‘Excuse Me Rakshasi’ is high on fun and energy.  I have wanted to engage all those who have supported me over the years. I am glad that it has become a reality.”

Music director SS Thaman said, “I am happy to have composed the music for Siddharth’s first film as producer, ‘Love Failure’.  And I am happy to have done it for Sundeep Kishan’s first film as a producer.  They both are good friends of mine and they are the heroes of their respective movies.”

Lyricist Samrat said, “I have written the song keeping Siddharth’s voice in mind.  I chose only those words that would sound the best in his voice.  All the songs that Siddharth has rendered in Telugu were blockbusters.  And ‘Excuse Me Rakshasi’ too will be a blockbuster.”

Posani Krishna Murali, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Pragathi and others are part of the cast.
