Sonali Bendre slams rumours linking her to Raj Thackeray

Actress Sonali Bendre, who recently turned 50, has slammed the latest gossip linking her to Maharashtra’s firebrand politician Raj Thackeray.

The speculation began after she was spotted with him at a recent event, prompting social media chatter that the two had once dated in their younger days.

Responding to these rumours, Sonali Bendre called out the gossipmongers for spreading baseless link-up stories.

“These reports are in poor taste,” she said, clarifying that her family and Raj Thackeray’s family have been friends for years. “We’ve known each other since childhood. There was never any romantic involvement,” she asserted.

Sonali Bendre, who has appeared in several Telugu films including “Murari” and Indra,” is currently playing character roles. She is married to noted Bollywood producer G”oldie Behl, and the couple have a teenage son.
