Sukumar's dilemma: Mahesh Babu or Prabhas!

Director Sukumar who scored mega blockbuster with ‘Rangasthalam’ which is on the verge of collecting Rs 100 Cr worldwide share is in huge demand. Though he directed big stars like Mahesh and NTR earlier, trade never considered him as “commercial director”. Now that he has proven that he too can deliver mega hits, all big stars are vying to work with him.

Sukumar is not in hurry. He will have to first prepare the script and he needs minimum a year to take this project to the sets. However, he has already expressed his desire to direct Prabhas for his next movie. But now he got call from Mahesh Babu to ready a script for him to team up again. Their earlier collaboration ‘1 Nenokkadine’ turned out to be a dud. Sukumar recently admitted that he failed to tell the story of ‘1 Nenokkadine’ convincingly.

Will Sukumar now go with Mahesh Babu or Prabhas? Whoever be the hero, he will work for the production house Mythri Movie Makers that produced ‘Rangasthalam’. Sukumar is leaving for vacation on 14 April and he will return to Hyderabad next month. He will decide next movie in couple of months.

Mahesh Babu will begin shoot of director Vamshi Paidipally’s love story from June. He has also given his nod to ‘Arjun Reddy’ director Sandeep Vanga. On the other hand, Prabhas has to finish shoot of ‘Saaho’ and then he will have to move to director ‘Jil’ Radha Krishna’s movie.
