In “Sundarakanda,” Nara Rohith plays an ageing bachelor desperate to find the right partner. The trailer, now out, reveals that he is caught between two women: one older than him, the other much younger.
The story unfolds in two tracks, one from his college days and the other in the present, with humor woven throughout.
This is Nara Rohith’s milestone 20th film. Directed by debutant Venkatesh Nimmalapudi and produced by Santhosh Chinnapolla, Gowtham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahankalli, “Sundarakanda” will release on August 27, clashing directly with Ravi Teja’s “Mass Jathara.”
The rap-style cut gives the trailer a fresh vibe, showcasing Rohith’s sharp comic timing. He also sports a completely new look.
Sridevi Vijaykumar and Vriti Vaghani play the female leads, while Leon James scores the music.
