With ‘Silly Fellows’, Sunil has made a comeback. Although the comedy is getting mixed reviews, film critics as well as audiences at large are happy with Sunil’s comic timing.
It has to be said that Sunil is comfortable in ‘Silly Fellows’ because there is no burden on him to show heroism, romantic side, etc. He marries a recording dancer, who is regarded as a “public property”. And then, his frustration knows no limits because every male person he meets is interested in his wife! This kind of comedy totally suits Sunil.
And this is a fillip for Sunil at a time when he is doing two important movies: ‘Aravindha Sametha’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. He has full-fledged roles in them. So, Sunil is both happy as well as relieved that his comeback as comedian is getting good words.
