Sunny Leone’s controversial multi-lingual film ‘Veeramadevi’ will now be released without any hurdles as Madurai court dismissed the petition that sought to stop the movie’s shoot and release. The court ordered counsel to not file petition that hold no legal grounds. The petitioner contended that Sunny Leone was an adult movie actor and her playing Queen Veeramadevi would be an insult.
The agitators in Tamilnadu and Karnataka are opposing Sunny Leone playing the title role in this film. Any actor can play any role they deem fit, the court observed before dismissing the petititon.
‘Veeramadevi’, directed by VC Vadivudaiyan, is slated for release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages.
